This Saturday July, 12th - | MeetUp @ 9:30 am. The Carlsbad Walks! group will be walking another one of the city’s beautiful trails,the Denk Tank Peak Trail in the Rancho La Costa Preserve.
We will meet at the trail head on Sitio Salvia. We will be starting at the trail head with an elevation of 532 ft. We will walk 1 mile up to the peak which has an elevation of about 1000 ft. We will be rise 500 ft in 1 mile.
This will be one of more difficult hikes eventhough it is shorter.
The approximately 2-mile walk will give walkers the opportunity to enjoy a 360-degree view of Carlsbad.

Directions:
Take La Costa Ave. East to Rancho Santa Fe Rd.
Go North on Rancho Santa Fe Rd to Camino Junipero.
Go East on Camino Junipero to Corte Romero.
Take Corte Romero to Sitio Salvia.
The Trailhead is on the right and street parking is available.
