About the walk
This adventure has been crafted to encourage urban dwellers to use transit within San Diego’s urban core. The East Village Tavern and Brewery Walk is great for a group of friends or coworkers to enjoy a few of East Village locals' favorite taverns and breweries. The journey begins at the Smart Corner transit station between 11th Avenue and Park Boulevard, on Broadway. The first spot is Monkey Paw Pub and Brewery, a local hangout where you can enjoy great eats and drinks. Another favorite in heart of the village is the East Village Tavern and Bowl, where you can let the good times roll while you test out your bowling skills, drink a beer or watch a game. Two blocks down is San Diego’s own Bootlegger to get your comfort plates and pours. And last but never least, check out the Neighborhood for some irresistible burgers, beer and whiskey. If you plan on taking transit home make sure that you plan ahead.
