About the walk
Enjoy an easy 1 mile walk along El Cajon’s pedestrian path that links the Public Safety Center Complex, Performing Arts Center, Ronald Reagan Community Center and the Public Library. As you stroll on an urban pathway toward W Main Street you will see the Performing Arts Center Duck Pond, one of the community’s hidden gems, on your left. Make sure to take a minute to enjoy the peaceful environment. Just across the street you’ll begin your journey down El Cajon’s event haven, Prescott Promenade, in the heart of Downtown. This walk consists of sidewalks, the Civic Center Complex pathway, and Prescott Promenade.
