Bike Month Partners
Circulate San Diego wants to remind everyone that May is Bike Month! Bike Month across the nation will look a bit different this year, as many activities have been postponed or hosted digitally. However, biking is a great social-distancing activity and we hope you will still hop on the saddle and bike to the beat of your own drum. Circulate will be posting information about Bike Month and providing activity information as it becomes available. Other resources to check out for Bike Month information is SANDAG's Bike Month website and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition Events page and Facebook page.
| ALL MONTH - RIDE THE DOWNTOWN LOOP! Circulate has created a "Downtown Loop" using the City ofSan Diego's existing and planned bikeways. The selected route features some of San Diego's newest protected bicycle facilities and less congested roadways. This route is meant to provide a comfortable and safe ride, but also help you get to all the fun things you can do in the downtown area! Since San Diego's #BIKETOWORKDAY has been postponed and like many of the other non-essential workers out there, Circulate San Diego is WFH - who wants to join us for a little #BIKEBEFOREWORKDAY next week instead? BIKE CARE AND REPAIR! Get your bike fixed or tuned up at one of San Diego's bike shops! As of March 25th, 2020, San Diego announced that bike shops may remain open for repair and maintenance service as critical infrastructure under the Transportation Sector for essential service/workers. Visit the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition website to see a map of bike shops around the County.
