About the walk
This 1.5-mile walk in South Park’s urban neighborhood has many exciting taverns and breweries to visit, offering an assortment of beers complimented by tasty treats to satisfy everyone’s taste buds. This walk is great for local residents in the neighborhood or a getaway to a unique historic district for visitors, to enjoy the local v. You’ll begin your walk near one of San Diego’s oldest beer and wine licensed establishments withstanding for over 75 years, Hamilton’s Tavern. At the north end of the South Park businesses district near Ivy Street, The Station Tavern on Fern Street is a new popular spot to hang out and drink beer while enjoying a delicious burger. Right around the corner on 30th Street is the new Stone Brewing Company taproom that offers freshly brewed beer to meet the local connoisseur’s needs. This is a great walk for a group or even a couple. Please drink responsibly, take transit, or call a cab.
