The City has a project to improve safety on University Avenue, between Fairmount and Euclid Avenues. Four design concepts have been developed.

They will share these concepts Tuesday, April 26 at a City Heights community wide workshop. They need your input on problem locations and preferred solutions.

The City kicked off the University Avenue Working Group in December 2015 to improve safety for all modes as part of Vision Zero. Since then, the group has developed four different design concepts that will make University Avenue safer for everyone between Fairmount Avenue and Euclid Avenue.

Vision Zero is a City of San Diego initiative to eliminate traffic deaths and injuries to zero by 2025 through engineering, education, and enforcement.
