We are not done talking about women safety! Come walk with us, and discuss safety concerns when walking in City Heights. A particular focus will be given to lighting, women's perception of safety, safety around transit, and safety around active transportation infrastructures. This is the second of four walks that will take place in different neighborhoods of the City of San Diego. The input collected during those walks will be put into maps, and will eventually lead to a report about Women's mobility issues in San Diego.
We will meet at Su Pan Bakery at 7:30 to discuss the walk's objectives and route and will plan to leave for the actual walk at around 8 pm.
This is a project funded partly by SANDAG and the City of San Diego. For this particular walk, we are proud to be collaborating with the City Heights CDC.
