Circulate San Diego is looking for a new project coordinator to join our team. The primary role of the Project Coordinator is to effectively deliver and manage active transportation planning and community outreach projects. The Project Coordinator will ensure projects are completed on time, on budget and to agreed quality standards. The Project Coordinator will work under the supervision of the Director of Programs and works closely with cities, public agencies, community groups, local stakeholders, and residents. SANDAG Seeks to Applicants for Audit Committee

SANDAG is currently recruiting applications for its new Audit Committee, a result of AB 805. We want to encourage anyone with relevant experience in the Circulate San Diego network to apply. The application period closes on February 3, 2018. As of January 24, SANDAG had received no applications for public members. 

The minimum professional standards for public members shall include at least ten years of experience as a certified public accountant or as a certified internal auditor, or ten years of other professional accounting, financial, or legal experience in audit management. MTS Service Changes Start this Weekend

In the fall of 2017, the MTS Board of Directors approved service changes recommended in their Transit Optimization Plan (TOP).  As a result, many bus routes are being changed to increase travel efficiency. It is definitely grant season! And while Circulate San Diego is fast at work submitting our own proposals to fulfill our mission of creating excellent mobility choices and vibrant, healthy neighborhoods, we are also writing many letters to support the grant applications of other agencies and organizations. Georgette Gomez Named New MTS Chairwoman

Last week the MTS's board of directors unanimously selected Georgette Gomez to be their new Chairwoman. We want to congratulate Councilwoman Gomez for this great accomplishment and we look forward to working with her to make transit more efficient and accessible for all in the San Diego region.
