Join us for a community walk audit on Imperial Avenue in Southeastern San Diego!
Circulate San Diego, in partnership with the County of San Diego, City of San Diego, and Councilmember Monica Montgomery's Staff, is hosting an Imperial Avenue walk audit on Thursday, September 9th.
The walk audit will document community needs for safer streets and discuss potential traffic calming interventions needed along the Imperial Avenue corridor.
Meet at the NE corner of Imperial Avenue & San Jacinto Dr at 6:00pm and we'll walk the Imperial Avenue corridor together.
About the project:
SDREACH is a collaborative effort between the City of San Diego and the County of San Diego to improve roadway safety and active transportation in Southeastern neighborhoods of San Diego. This multi-year project will identify and design built environment improvements to calm traffic, enhance walking and bicycling, and increase opportunities for residents to incorporate physical activity into their daily routines. Improvements will be focused on the Imperial Avenue Corridor between San Jacinto Street and 61st Street
