The City of San Diego is proposing bold and meaningful parking reforms to make housing more affordable and help San Diego reach its Climate Action Plan goals. The parking reforms will allow new multifamily development to build zero parking spaces, if it provides transportation amenities for residents and the community. You can read more about the reforms here.

Circulate has been advocating for parking reform since 2017 when we released our TOD report, which included recommendations to reduce parking requirements.
