World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims Observed by Councilmember Ward, SDPD, and Circulate San Diego

SAN DIEGO (November 16th, 2017) – Tomorrow, World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims will be observed by Councilmember Chris Ward, the San Diego Police Department, Circulate San Diego, and safe streets advocates. As part of World Day of Remembrance, residents in cities from Seattle to Boston to San Diego will mobilize at public events to urge action to save lives on streets through Vision Zero. Vision Zero is the City’s adopted goal of ending all traffic fatalities and serious injuries by 2025.

All Star Intern Interview

Throughout 2017 Circulate San Diego has been lucky enough to have our work supported by an incredible intern, Zach Rivera, who shared his intellect and passion on numerous initiatives to improve mobility in San Diego. Zach will be accepting a new internship with as a Planning Intern at SANDAG this month, so last week we took the opportunity to sit down with Zach and talk about his success.
