Circulate San Diego joined forces with the Downtown San Diego Partnership to come up with a creative walking activity for residents and visitors to experience the Marina District in Downtown San Diego.
Through the use of sidewalk decals, users get to experience facts about the Marina District through a fun and interactive environmental design strategy. The decals have QR codes that lead the user to a webmap with all of the locations of the deals and additional details about each decal location to learn about. There are also kid-friendly activities on each decal to help engage even the youngest of users.
This self-guided tour of points of interest and hidden treasures in the Marina neighborhood of Downtown San Diego celebrates the Marina District’s rich history and helps motivate residents and visitors to get out, get active, and learn something new!
