Intro Spotlight: Cierra Johnson

In keeping with our tradition of interviewing new team members, we asked our new Associate Planner and Community Engagement Specialist, Cierra Johnson, a few questions...

Tell us a bit about yourself

My name is Cierra and I love challenging myself to try new things rather it be a new project or trying new foods, or learning a new skill; I really enjoy it. I love reading books, cooking new recipes, walking around San Diego, and laughing with friends.

How did you become interested in Circulate San Diego?

I became interested in Circulate San Diego through a colleague I worked with. She had these amazing things to say about the company and when I looked at the website, I was happy to see how they are involved in making San Diego more connected with better transportation and access to mass transit.

What’s your most memorable face palm moment? Or what is your biggest achievement to date? Choose one.

My biggest achievement to date is doing a 20-mile hike in the Grand Canyon from Rim to Rim: South Kaibab to North Kaibab.

If you could choose anyone, who would you pick as your mentor?

I have been really enjoying a book called The Defining Decade, I would choose Meg Jay as my mentor. I am really enjoying her book and her wisdom.
