Join us for our first Transit for Fun event on Saturday, April 30, and enjoy local eats and drinks with like-minded folks! Leave the car behind and relax. New to public transit? No problem! Transit for Fun events are designed to be enjoyed by everyday transit riders and others, who are open to the idea to using transit, but rarely take it. We are meeting at 11:45 am downtown at the 5th Avenue Trolley Station in front of 7 Eleven (6th and C). After purchasing our transit passes and some brief introductions, we will be jumping on the number 2 bus to start our adventure.
This is a 21+ event.
Stops and deals:
- 11:45 am. Meet at trolley station on 6th and C.
- 12:43 pm. Visit South Park Brewery - Free taco and 10% off food and drinks
- 1:49 pm. Visit UnderBelly
- 2.55 pm. Visit Belching Beaver - Dollar off drafts
Why do we ask for a deposit?
Your deposit will pay for your Compass Card. Or if you already have a monthly pass, we"ll refund your deposit in cash.

Transit for fun is a program of Circulate San Diego to show the benefits of public transportation by organizing special outings where participants use public transport to have fun. Our goal is to show people, especially those who may have pre-conceived ideas about what riding the bus is all about, that the bus really can be useful, cost-effective, timely, and, yes, fun!
