Winners Announced – 2020 Momentum Awards!

Thanks to everyone who attended this year’s “2020 Momentum Awards (at Home)!”

Congratulations to all of the nominees and winners for this year’s Momentum Awards! All nominees and winners are listed at our website.

Every year, Circulate San Diego’s Momentum Awards recognize the people and projects in the San Diego region that are creating excellent mobility choices and vibrant, healthy neighborhoods.

And a special thanks to Congressman Scott Peters for his keynote welcome, and to Mayor Kevin Faulcon and Supervisor Greg Cox for joining us to receive their “Walk the Walk” awards for substantial action for smart mobility and land uses.

Outdoor Outreach Free Community Enrollment For Youth Programs

Circulate’s partner, Outdoor Outreach, is offering free community enrollment for their fall youth programs. The Out and About San Diego program is open to anyone ages 5-25 who is a resident of San Diego County, with a focus on building youth resilience in vulnerable populations.

Outdoor Outreach is running multiple sets of programs in every corner of the County with bus transportation provided at 6 different regional pick up locations for youth.

What did we learn from City of San Diego Slow Streets?

The City of San Diego recently released data from their city-wide Slow Streets Survey. 41% of respondents used slow streets and 73% of respondents support slow streets during stay at home order. We call that a pilot success!
