Circulate received funding from AARP California to develop a Transit Audit Tool Kit. The goal of the project was to develop an easily accessible toolkit which would allow individuals or groups to conduct an audit of transit facilities on an independent basis. Prior to this project, AARP's library was equipped with a Walk Audit Tool Kit and a Bike Audit Tool Kit.
Circulate handled a variety of tasks through this project. This included conducting case studies of five (5) transit agencies to better understand transit amenities, transit maintenance and policy, developing an example of an effective transit ridership survey, developing a transit audit checklist, and developing templates for social media.
