I wanted to get a special FREE event walk scheduled as soon as possible so that everyone can register. Last Thursday of July, July 28th - | MeetUp @ 5:30 pm til 7:00pm. The Carlsbad Walks! group will be walking Road Runner Sport's Carlsbad Adventure Run.
The Adventure Run is described as;
"You’re in for one mind-blowing evening of FREE, prize-tastic fitness FUN when you join runners LIKE YOU for the nation’s BIGGEST group fun run at your Carlsbad Road Runner Sports retail store! Enjoy 60 minutes of FUN as you run (or walk) at your own pace & collect FREE raffle tickets along the way. Then, toast to your adventure & meet new friends in the Green Flash beer garden while scoring up to $3,000 in FREE raffle prizes!"
5:00-6:00PM - ARRIVE EARLY TO CHECK-IN & SHOP
6:00-7:00PM - Run or Walk to Fun Checkpoints at Your Own Pace
7:00-7:30PM - Win FREE Raffle Prizes & Enjoy Your Green Flash Beer Garden
7:30PM-??? - Keep the Fun Going at Your After Party (announced at event)
We will meet between 5:00 and 6:00 pm next to the registration tables to make sure everyone gets registered before heading out on the walk which lasts one hour, stretches about 3 miles, and will be on local sidewalks.
The registration area is in the Road Runner parking lot which is across the street from the Outlet Mall, which is the best place to park.
