First Sunday of the Month, May 1st - Rancho Carrillo Trail | MeetUp @ 9:30 am. the Carlsbad Walks! group will be walking another one of the city’s beautiful trails, located in Leo Carrillo Ranch Historic Park. We will meet at the Leo Carrillo Park parking lot. We will be walking along an unpaved trail that is classified as "Easy to Moderately Difficult."
The approximately four-mile trail is divided by Melrose Drive into two routes, one on each side of Melrose Drive. The trail east of Melrose connects to the San Marcos trail system in the open space corridor at Carlsbad’s eastern border. The trail west of Melrose connects with the trails of Bressi Ranch, The Greens and Alga Norte Park.
