Discover Marina! Downtown San Diego’s Newest Pedestrian Activity
Are you a San Diego resident or visitor and would like to know more about the Marina neighborhood in Downtown San Diego?
Circulate San Diego and the Downtown San Diego Partnership have teamed up to create a unique walking experience, highlighting some of the most iconic locations within the Marina neighborhood. Locations include the San Diego Chinese Historical Museum, the Martin Luther King Jr. Promenade, the United States Bankruptcy Court, among many others!
If you would like to learn more about the Marina District, visit the project’s story map at Discover Marinaor walk through the Marina neighborhood yourself and discover the pavement decals (shown above) with more information about the featured locations.

Central Mobility Hub and Connections Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan Virtual Workshop
Please join SANDAG and Caltrans at the first virtual public workshop for the Central Mobility Hub and Connections Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan (CMH and Connections CMCP).
At the public workshop, you can:
- Learn more about the Central Mobility Hub and Connections Comprehensive Multimodal Corridor Plan
- Review and provide feedback on alternatives for the Central Mobility Hub
- Provide input on transportation needs and opportunities
- Speak with project team members and ask questions

Open House San Diego has begun!
Exploring the intersection of design and community, Open House San Diego 2021 offers a look at the history, public spaces, and architecturally and socially significant developments in these neighborhoods. OH! 2021 features self-guided tours, socially distanced outdoor experiences and activations, virtual tours, and panel discussions.

SDSU’s Equity and Cycling Survey
SDSU’s City Planning graduate students are studying equity and bicycle patterns in the San Diego region. This survey looks to explore barriers that inhibit bicycle ridership. The survey is anonymous and should take approximately 8 – 10 minutes.

Scooter Corral Education Program
Last week, Circulate and Lyft launched a temporary Scooter Corral Parking Education program to educate and incentivize scooter riders to park in existing on-street designated areas.
Temporary educational signage can be found at scooter corrals across Little Italy, Downtown, and East Village for the next month.
Scooter riders are encouraged to park in corrals to keep our sidewalks safe for all users and as an added bonus, riders receive $1 off their ride! Signage also included a QR code for riders easily access a mobile map of 500+ scooter corrals in the City of San Diego.
Circulate is proud to partner with Lyft in piloting creative solutions for improve micromobility in our transportation system!
BIPOC Bike Ride Featured in OH! San Diego
You may recall our virtual BIPOC Bike Ride, created in partnership with BikeSD and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition for the inaugural San Diego Design Week (SDDW).
Well, we are excited to share that SDDW is partnering with the San Diego Architectural Foundation to offer a special selection of the SDDW self-guided and virtual tours available during OH! San Diego 2021!
