Grand Opening: Keeler Court Affordable Apartments!

On Wednesday, June 29th, Circulate staff members had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of the new Community HousingWorks (CHW) Keeler Court affordable apartment complex. Located in Southcrest, this development is home to 71 units ranging in size from studios to 3-bedrooms. The Ruby Award-winning complex also provides residents with educational spaces, a computer lab, secure bicycle storage, laundry facilities, a community garden, outdoor grilling spaces, MTS bus passes, and more. Circulate will be providing transit, bicycle, and pedestrian education to Keeler Court residents later this year!

NCTD Transit Ridership Survey

Circulate is collaborating with Deloitte and North County Transit District (NCTD) to collect data on how to improve their transit systems (BREEZE, COASTER, FLEX/LIFT, and SPRINTER). The survey was developed to assess travel patterns and use of NCTD services as a way to inform future NCTD services and investment. It is intended for anyone who lives, works, or otherwise visits the North County region. A shorter version of the survey is also available for those who currently do not use transit but could potentially be encouraged to try it.

We will be doing a series of outreach efforts throughout North County including:

  • Escondido Farmers Market (7/12)
  • State Street Farmers Market (7/13)
  • Oceanside’s Sunset Market (7/14)
  • Vista Farmers Market (7/16)
  • Vista Summer Fun Fest (7/16)

The questions cover a variety of topics including current travel behavior, service and routes, first and last mile connections, and the overall user experience, among others. The survey is available HERE.

Come join us and provide feedback. Follow us on social media @CirculateSD to keep up with our efforts.
