WHAT
Public transportation is an affordable, stress-free, and environmentally friendly option for getting around town. Circulate San Diego’s Transit for Fun program is a unique opportunity to learn more about San Diego’s transit system, while taking a free ride to this year’s Pride Parade! Why sit in traffic and circle around the block for parking or pay for a rideshare?

WHEN
July 13, 2019 at 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM

Arrive by 9:00 AM. We'll take the bus #7 scheduled to depart 30th Street & University Avenue at 9:14 AM and arrive at Park Blvd & University Avenue at 9:20 AM. The pride parade begins at the Hillcrest Pride Flag at University Avenue and Normal Street at 10:00 AM.

Walk Audit: Peak Use During Comic-Con

How well does a City function during peak use? Are our streets conducive for walking? Are people driving or do they take public transit? Are transit stops large enough for riders to que?

Come walk with us and discuss pedestrian safety concerns during one of San Diego's busiest times - Comic-Con!

Not often do we get to observe travel behaviors and infrastructure capabilities during peak pedestrian use. Join us as we discuss and assess how Downtown San Diego functions for pedestrian users during this busy, annual event. A particular focus will be given to pedestrian behaviors, infrastructure capacity performance, and the ability to access other transportation modes, like transit.

WHEN:
July 18, 2019 from 3:30 PM - 5:00 PM

WHERE
Northwest Side of Park at the Park
(Near Social Tap)
815 J St #101
San Diego, CA 92101

The walk audit will end at Circulate's July Membership Mixer at Affirmed Housing’s Ten Fifty B Street, just in time for a free drink!
