Circulate San Diego joined a coalition letter in support of the Housing Supply and Affordability Act. This bill would provide $1.5 billion in federal grants to local governments to assist them in removing barriers to housing production. The bill also focuses on developing policies that help avoid the displacement of local residents. Local governments that promise to put housing near jobs and transit will get priority in receiving funding. The letter was organized by Up For Growth and is signed by numerous national and local organizations.
