About the walk
The Escondido Civic Center Walk is a 1 mile loop in the heart of Escondido’s downtown civic core. The area is home to Escondido’s City Hall and the California Center for the Arts, both exemplary examples of state of the art architectural design. Come experience the beauty of the “City of Choice”, where you can visit the California Center for the Arts, Escondido History Center, Grape Day Park, City Hall, Public Library and the Maple Street Pedestrian Plaza.
This route consists of primarily downtown sidewalks, park pathways, and Maple Street Plaza. Make sure to check the business hours if you plan on stopping at any of the points of interest.
