Circulate San Diego submitted a letter in support of the San Diego Association of Governments (SANDAG) joint application with the North County Transit District (NCTD) for funding from the FY2024-25 Federal-State Partnership for Intercity Passenger Rail (FSP) Grant Program. The Eastbrook to Shell Double Track Project includes replacing an approximately 100-year-old single-track rail bridge over the San Luis Rey River in the City of Oceanside and constructing a double-track concrete bridge, eliminating a 0.6-mile single-track bottleneck along the Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) Rail Corridor.
