Circulate San Diego submitted a letter in support of SANDAG's submission of the San Diego Regional Last-Mile Freight Delivery Plan for a Caltrans Sustainable Transportation Grant. The Project will develop a plan to optimize the delivery of goods to advance regional goals of improving safety and reducing vehicle miles traveled and emissions. Strategies will leverage new transportation technologies to prevent conflicts between last-mile delivery vehicles and vulnerable road users while improving carrier efficiency.
