About the walk
If you’re a Mission Valley resident or intrigued by the secluded riverbed, this great two-mile walk takes you along a pedestrian pathway on the riverbed's eastern portion. For transit convenience the walk begins at the Mission Valley Center Station, where you can connect to the pedestrian pathway on the north side of the tracks (closest to the riverbed). An incredible asset, the San Diego River’s true appreciation has yet to come. Access allows for a deeper connection to wildlife, with a variety of native species offering a beautiful scenic escape from the fast-paced world just seconds away.
As this is a great location for personal space and quiet or a perfect spot to chat with a friend, make sure to take the time to appreciate the proximity of this area and the possibilities that are to come with future riverfront improvements.
