From Seattle to New York City, San Diego to Washington, D.C. a number of leading cities have committed to Vision Zero — while many others are considering and working toward this commitment.
Leah Shahum is connected to all of these cities through the national Vision Zero Network.
Circulate San Diego and its partners are pleased to invite you to an afternoon reception to learn about the national Vision Zero movement. Our special guest speaker is Leah Shahum, Founder and Director of the Vision Zero Network.
With funding from Kaiser Permanente, Leah established a hub for the growing number of spokes that are local Vision Zero strategies. From west coast to east coast, Leah is providing guidance to help make the Vision Zero strategies as successful as possible.
Leah has nearly two decades of proven success championing movements to advance active transportation. She served as the longtime Executive Director of the San Francisco Bicycle Coalition and has participated on the Boards of Directors of the Golden Gate Bridge, Highway & Transportation District, SF Municipal Transportation Agency, and the national Alliance for Biking and Walking.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear more about how cities are successfully preventing traffic deaths and injuries and how this movement can benefit San Diego.
We look forward to seeing you at this informative event!
