Policy Letter: Opposition to Restrictions on Autonomous Vehicles
Circulate joined a coalition of organizations writing in opposition to proposed restrictions on autonomous vehicles. Human error is the leading cause of traffic related severe injuries and fatalities. Autonomous vehicles take human error out of the equation, and as such are demonstrated to be significantly safer than human drivers. These vehicles will help San Diego make progress towards reaching its vision zero and mobility goals.
