May is National Bike Month, promoted by the League of American Bicyclists and celebrated in communities from coast to coast. Established in 1956, National Bike Month is a chance to showcase the many benefits of bicycling — and encourage more folks to try biking.
At the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition's Pacific Beach Bike Month Party, there will be an ongoing bike rodeo/skills course, helmet fittings, bike tune-ups, giveaways, free coffee, and mingling with community members and bike enthusiasts!
Join Circulate at 11am for a short walk audit of the area surrounding the Pacific Beach public library. We'll be taking pictures and gathering observations on street safety and quality of pedestrian and bicycle infrastructure to compile into a report for the City of San Diego. Get your steps in, share your stories, and help collect some data!
