This past 2023-2024 fiscal year, Circulate and Vista Community Clinic (VCC) teamed up with the County of San Diego to bring bicycle and pedestrian safety programs to residents across the county. With support from the California Office of Traffic Safety, Circulate and VCC delivered a packed lineup of impactful events and programs that made San Diego region's streets safer and more accessible for everyone. Here’s a snapshot of what we accomplished together: 9 community events, 3 open street events, 4 state and national safety campaigns, 10 community group presentations, 6 school assemblies, 5 older adult safety presentations, 5 bike rodeos, 3 walking field trips, 10 social media safety campaigns, 9 virtual stakeholder meetings, and 1 helmet survey.
The Circulate team worked hard throughout the year to deliver on this project and is looking forward to doing it all again for the 2024-25 cycle! If you are interested in receiving/collaborating in any of the aforementioned FREE programming, please reach out to [email protected].
