Circulate received a grant from the County of San Diego to conduct California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) funded pedestrian and bicycle safety programming. The OTS programs target all age groups to raise awareness about traffic rules, rights, and responsibilities whether you are driving, walking, or bicycling. The overarching program goal is to reduce the total number of pedestrians and bicyclists killed or injured in traffic related crashes.
Between October 2024 and September 2025, Circulate conducted:

- 3 state and national safety campaigns
- 4 safety oriented presentations to community groups
- 4 safety oriented presentations to students
- 3 safety oriented presentations to older adults
- 3 bicycle/scooter rodeos
- 2 walking field trips
- 6 social media safety campaigns
- 9 countywide stakeholder meetings
- 1 helmet usage survey
