San Diego Vision Zero Task Force announces new accomplishments
On May 18, 2017 the task force convened and filled a conference room in the City’s Administration Building to the point that it began to feel cramped. The task force is an advisory committee that meets once a month, comprised of City staff from various departments and advocates, including Circulate San Diego, that advises the Mayor’s Office on how to implement Vision Zero. WALK N' ROLL: A Barrio Logan Storytelling with So Say we all!
Announcing a new project with our friends at So Say All. Together, we're hosting a storytelling event about neighborhoods we’re calling Walk N Roll. We hope people will relate to other people's personal stories and feel a sense of connection to various themes that make neighborhoods great, and not so great. And through that shared connection, will be able to think about individual neighborhood issues with a fresh perspective.
We're looking for stories!
We want to hear stories about neighborhoods, particularly the Barrio Logan neighborhood: what makes it great? What sets it apart? What definitive moments have happened to you there? What does your neighborhood mean to you? Tell us about the heartbreaks, the bad decisions, the mistakes, the meals you shared with lost friends. Tell us about your home. Tell us a story.
