New in 2026: Become an Event Sponsor

Circulate’s events bring together the people shaping the region’s transportation, housing, and land use decisions. New in 2026, organizations can support this work in a highly visible way by becoming an event sponsor.

Event sponsorship offers a unique opportunity to connect directly with elected officials, agency leaders, and industry professionals while demonstrating leadership on safer streets, better transit, and housing solutions. Sponsors receive recognition across event promotions, programs, and Circulate’s website and social media, reaching thousands of engaged supporters.

Circulate’s 2026 events include:

- Membership Mixers, which offer high-impact networking with civic and professional leaders
- The Advisory Circle Dinner, an invitation-only gathering for in-depth policy discussion
- The Momentum Awards, our signature annual event celebrating the people and projects moving San Diego forward

Many sponsorship levels also include speaking or guest-introduction opportunities, along with tickets or reserved seating. Most importantly, sponsorship signals your organization’s commitment to practical, forward-thinking solutions that improve how people get around and live in our region.

Happy Work Anniversary Spotlight: Maria Walker

It’s a celebration! Today we Congratulate Maria Walker on her 3rd year work anniversary with Circulate!

As is our tradition, we interviewed Maria so our supporters and members can see what she’s been up to.

Recap: 2024-2025 Walk n Roll Program

This past year, Circulate teamed up with the County of San Diego to bring bicycle and pedestrian safety programs to residents across the region! With support from the California Office of Traffic Safety, Circulate delivered a packed lineup of impactful events and programs that made San Diego’s streets safer and more accessible for everyone.

The Circulate team worked hard throughout the year to deliver on this project and is looking forward to doing it all again for the 2025-26 cycle!

Policy Letter: Comments on SANDAG’s 2025 Regional Transportation Plan

Last week, Circulate sent a public comment letter reacting to the improvements SANDAG made to the 2025 Regional Transportation Plan (RTP). In 2022, Circulate published our SANDAG Reboot report, which analyzed the 2021 Draft Regional Transportation Plan. The report ultimately found that the plan assumed large sums of highly speculative revenues, which has near term negative impacts on transit and climate goals.

The 2025 RTP, which was approved by SANDAG last week, makes good progress towards addressing Circulate’s concerns. While not perfect, the plan significantly reduces speculative revenue estimations and makes more realistic near-term transit investments. Circulate applauds this progress and encourages SANDAG to continue this trend in future plans.

Happy Holidays and New Year!

This season, we celebrate the community we've built. Thank you for being part of our mission to create excellent mobility choices and vibrant, healthy neighborhoods. Your support helps us build brighter futures.

Joy to you and yours! ~ The Circulate Team
