Highway 101, Solana Beach

Circulate San Diego, a regional transportation education and advocacy organization, would like your input regarding the improvements that took place along Highway 101 starting in 2012 and ending in 2013. The improvements ran along a 1 mile stretch of Highway 101 from Cliff Street to Dahlia Drive.

The approximately 6 million dollar project included narrowing highway lanes and reducing highway speeds, widening sidewalks, improving and adding crosswalks, and adding 11 "meeting places." In addition to these improvements, the number of parking spaces increased and medians and sidewalks were outfitted with trees and drought resistant plants.

Your feedback will help us understand the benefits of these types of projects. We appreciate your support and value your input!
