San Diego County Pedestrian Audit Reports (FY 2025-26)

Circulate has a series of grants from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) to conduct pedestrian audits throughout the San Diego region. In preparation for these audits, the team aims to collaborate with a local organization, school, community group, etc. to get insight from locals on issues that create unsafe conditions for pedestrians and bicyclists.

After each audit, a two-page report is prepared which includes a crash data map, photos of observed conditions, and a brief summary of the observed deficiencies/challenges creating the unsafe and/or uncomfortable conditions. These reports are prepared in cooperation with the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). The opinions, findings and conclusions expressed in these publications are those of the author(s) and not necessarily those of OTS.

See below for summaries of our pedestrian audits conducted throughout the region. Make sure to follow us on all social media channels @CirculateSD to keep up and potentially join us for some of our future audits.
