Circulate received a grant from the City of Chula Vista to conduct California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) funded pedestrian and bicycle safety programming. The OTS programs target all age groups to raise awareness about traffic rules, rights, and responsibilities whether you are driving, walking, or bicycling. The overarching program goal is to reduce the total number of pedestrians and bicyclists killed or injured in traffic related crashes.
Between October 2024 and September 2025, Circulate conducted:

- 5 traffic safety fairs and/or community events
- 4 state and national safety campaigns
- 2 helmet usage surveys in 2 locations
- 4 bike rodeos
- 10 pedestrian/bike audits
- 10 safety oriented presentations
- 10 Walk This Way / Share the Road presentations
- 4 walk and bike to school days
- 1 quick-build demonstration
- 1 Park(ing) Day celebration
