Blog: Breakthrough for Vision Zero and the Fatal 15
This week we saw a major breakthrough for our Vision Zero campaign to end traffic fatalities and serious injuries.
Circulate San Diego announced on Wednesday that the City of San Diego is committing to fixing all of the “Fatal 15,” the City’s 15 most dangerous intersections by the end of the coming fiscal year. This is the largest commitment yet by San Diego to target funding for Vision Zero, and to make safety improvements where lives are most at risk.

Membership Mixer Recap
We had a blast with so many new and long time Circulate members at our inaugural membership mixer in Chula Vista! Thank you to Mayor Mary Salas, Thr3e Punk Ales, and Bike Walk Chula Vista for all that you do for the community and joining us.
Walk to School Day at Porter Elementary
The morning of April 10th, started with students gathering at Kennedy Park where enthusiasm and small prizes were shared with participants of the Walking School Bus. Thanks to parent volunteers and SDPD officers, students made their way safely to school. Over 60 students participated in the Walking School Bus led by Captain VZ, and plenty more walked to school independently!
Highlights from Imperial Avenue Pop-up Parklet
Thanks to a mini-grant from SANDAG's iCommute program, we were able to put on a pop-up parklet to provide free bike safety information and equipment to the community of Logan Heights. Those who stopped by had the chance to win bike lights, helmets, and other safety gear to make them safer while riding. Memo's Barrio Bike Shop came out to provide free bike tune-ups, and SANDAG staff also joined to answer questions about planned improvements for Imperial Avenue.
