Save The Date for Our Upcoming Imperial Beach Events!
Join us next week as we host a booth at the City of Imperial Beach’s National Night Out event on Tuesday, August 4th and at the Music in the Park event on Friday, August 7th!
Both of these events will be held at Veterans Park (1075 8th St, Imperial Beach, CA 91932). The National Night Out event hours are: 4:30pm – 6:30pm. The Music in the Park event hours are 5:30pm-7:00pm. We will be onsite distributing free bicycle and pedestrian safety materials, including helmets! The City of Imperial Beach will also be raffling off some brand new bicycles!

Join us for a neighborhood ride!
Circulate and the San Diego River Park Foundation are teaming up for a scenic community bike ride!
The ride begins at SDSU and connects riders to Grant Park using a mix of neighborhood streets, bike lanes, and the scenic San Diego River Trail. The ride showcases how connected bike infrastructure links SDSU with Mission Valley and surrounding communities. The 5-mile, one-way ride ends at Grant Park, making it a great option for riders looking to explore the river corridor while enjoying a safe and scenic trip.
Whether you're looking to explore the river corridor, discover new bike routes, or enjoy a fun ride with others, this is a great opportunity to experience one of San Diego's growing active transportation networks. Free incentives will be given out!

Join us on Saturday, August 15, at 10:00 a.m. for a 1.5-mile Pedestrian Audit in Pacific Beach!
In partnership with Beautiful PB, we'll explore the PB Pathways network, observe conditions along the busy La Jolla Boulevard and Mission Boulevard corridors, and discuss opportunities to improve pedestrian safety, bike safety, and accessibility in the area.
We'll kick things off by meeting at Boards N' Beans before heading out for the audit.

The meetings will be held between July 31 through August 25.

Nominations will close today for the 2026 Momentum Awards, Circulate Planning & Policy’s annual recognition of the people and projects advancing safe streets, public transit and land use.
This year introduces new award categories and updated criteria that better reflect the full range of work shaping our region’s future. From housing innovation to transit-oriented development and public sector leadership, the 2026 awards elevate the work driving real change on the ground.
