This walk was coordinated with St. Paul's Plaza, an assisted and independent living senior community. This walk was hosted on April 4, 2024 and had a group of 12 people. The walk audit was attended by Circulate San Diego, residents of St. Paul’s Plaza, and St. Paul’s Senior Services staff.
St. Paul’s Plaza is located in a residential area of Chula Vista called Otay Ranch. The walking route took place along: Santa Andrea Street, East Palomar Street, Fieldbrook Street, and Santa Rita Street. Between 2018-2022, there was 1 pedestrian injury within a quarter mile of the walking route. On January 16th, 2021, an 8-year-old girl was hit by a driver traveling at an unsafe speed along Fieldbrook Street.
