This pedestrian audit was conducted in coordination with Museum School. This audit was hosted on April 11, 2025 and had a group of 26 people. The group included Circulate San Diego, Museum School staff, and third grade students.
Museum School is located in Bankers Hill. The audit route took place along: Maple Street, Laurel Street, Olive Street, Redwood Street, Spruce Street, 4th Avenue, and 5th Avenue. Between 2019-2023, there were 9 pedestrians injured and 12 bicyclists injured within a quarter mile of the walking route. On March 6, 2025, Oliver Sevilla Oliveros was killed by a driver while crossing the intersection of Maple Street and 6th Avenue at an unmarked crosswalk.
