This walk audit was conducted in coordination with the Rolando Park Community Council. This walk was hosted on January 23, 2024 and had a group of 15 people. The group included Circulate staff, the Rolando Park Community Council, and other interested residents.
The walking route took place along: Vista Grande Drive, Celia Vista Drive, 69th Street, Waite Drive, Aragon Drive, and Marlowe Drive. Between 2018-2022, there were 2 pedestrian injuries and 1 bicycle injury within a quarter mile of the walking route. On May 26, 2020, approximately one-half mile from the audit location, 35-year-old Daryl Treadwell was killed by a hit-and-run driver while bicycling on University Avenue.
