This audit was coordinated with Salvation Army staff. This audit was hosted on March 27, 2025 and had a group of 11 people. The pedestrian audit was attended by Circulate San Diego, City of Chula Vista staff, Salvation Army staff, and residents of Silvercrest.
Silvercrest Residence is located near Downtown Chula Vista and Chula Vista Center Shopping Mall. The audit route took place along: H Street, Broadway, I Street, and Third Avenue. Between 2019-2023, there were 28 pedestrians injured and 14 bicyclists injured within a quarter mile of the audit route. On January 13, 2025, 59-year-old pedestrian Michael Anthony Jaramillo was struck and killed by a driver in an alley north of 517 H Street.
