This audit was coordinated with Chula Vista Parks & Recreation staff. This walk was hosted on June 12, 2024 and had a group of 33 people. The audit was attended by Circulate San Diego, City of Chula Vista staff, City of Chula Vista Parks and Rec, and campers of Heritage Park.
The walking route took place along: East Palomar Street, La Media Road, Montana Road, Gustine Street, Pacifica Avenue, and Santa Lucia Road. Between 2019-2023, there were 6 pedestrians injured within a quarter mile of the audit route. On July 29, 2023, a driver struck a 37 -year-old woman and 17-year old child while they were crossing the intersection East Palomar Street and Santa Alicia Avenue.
