This walk audit was conducted in coordination with Walk n Roll SD. We had a group of 11 people join us on this walk. The group included Circulate staff, Walk n Roll SD staff, and various residents from the public.
Additionally, the group was pleasantly surprised by Univision San Diego as they requested to interview us for the local news. You can find the link to the interview here.
The walking route was situated on two high-injury corridors: El Cajon Boulevard and Park Boulevard. Between 2017-2022, there were 1 pedestrian fatality, 37 pedestrian injuries, and 24 bicycle injuries within a quarter mile of the walking route.
