This walk audit was conducted in coordination with Father Joe's Villages. The partnership resulted in a series of 3 walking field trips with their residents. This is the second of the 3. We had a group of 10 people join us on this walk. The group included Circulate staff, Father Joe's Villages staff, and Father Joe's Villages residents.
The walking route was situated on three high-injury corridors: National Avenue, Logan Avenue and Commercial Street. Between 2017-2022, there were 5 pedestrians fatalities, 67 pedestrian injuries, 1 bicycle fatality and 43 bicycle injuries within a quarter mile of the walking route.
