This walk audit was conducted in coordination with the San Diego Bicycle Coalition during their Pacific Beach Bike Month Party. We had a group of 10 people join us on this walk. The group included Circulate staff and Pacific Beach Bike Month Party attendees. Participants provided valuable input regarding walking around the Pacific Beach Taylor Branch Library.
The walking route was situated on two high-injury corridors: Mission Boulevard and Grand Avenue. Between 2017-2022, there have been 67 pedestrian injuries and 41 bicycle injuries within a quarter mile of the walking route.
