This walk audit was conducted in coordination with Father Joe's Villages. The partnership resulted in a series of 3 walking field trips with their residents. This is the first of the 3. We had a group of 10 people join us on this walk. The group included Circulate staff, Father Joe's Villages staff, and Father Joe's Villages residents.
The walking route was situated on two high-injury corridors: Imperial Avenue and E Harbor Drive. Between 2017-2022, there were 4 pedestrians killed, 104 pedestrian injuries and 62 bicycle injuries within a quarter mile of the walking route.
