This walk audit was conducted in coordination with San Diego College of Continuing Education (SDCCE) for their Black Tech Link's 3rd Annual Community Health and STEM Fest. We had a group of 18 people join us on this walk. The group included Circulate staff and local residents from the Mountain View neighborhood.
The walking route was situated on three high-injury corridors: Ocean View Boulevard, Logan Avenue, and San Pasqual Street. Between 2017-2022, there was 1 pedestrian fatality, 19 pedestrian injuries, and 5 bicycle injuries within a quarter mile of the walking route.
