This walk audit was conducted in coordination with Councilmember Vivian Moreno at their 1st annual Bark in the Barrio Memorial Dog Park Celebration. We had a group of 25 people join us on this walk. The group included Circulate staff and various participants from the event.
The walking route was situated on three high-injury corridors: Ocean View Boulevard, S 28th Street, and S 30th Street. Between 2017-2022, there were 33 pedestrian injuries and 8 bicycle injuries within a quarter mile of the walking route.
