Davida has worked in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (A/E/C) industry for over 17 years. A well-rounded marketing professional with a strong background in administrative and office management her roles ranged from front desk first impressions, to managing job-site/project administration, to leading and working with design teams developing robust technical proposals to win work. She is a graduate of University of Phoenix with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing.
She recently returns to San Diego after a four-year stint in New York City and is enjoying her hometown in a whole new way, including taking mass transit for business and pleasure! When she is not managing Circulate’s office operations, she is running her mobile spray tanning business, working out, or enjoying live music. She thoroughly enjoys working with and supporting a positive team with a vision to create a dynamic change in the community.

On Wednesday, our CEO, Colin Parent, testified before CA Assembly's Housing & Community Development committee in support of our sponsored bill Assembly Bill 2560.
AB 2560 from Assemblymember David Alvarez and Senator Scott Wiener would expand housing access in California's exclusive coastal zone by applying density bonus law, which the rest of California abides by, in that exclusive and expensive area. This bill would help Californians of all incomes have a better opportunity to live in our heavily segregated coastal lands.
AB 2560 is co-sponsored by Circulate San Diego, SPUR, and the Bay Area Council.
Join Circulate & the Transit Transformation Task Force for a Special Trolley Tour
You’re invited to join local transit stakeholders and members of the Transit Transformation Task Force for a special trolley tour on April 15th from 8:30 to 10 am.
Last year, the California legislature recognized that its recent funding increase for public transportation is insufficient to address the critical issues faced by transit agencies. Consequently, the California State Transportation Agency (CalSTA) was tasked with convening a task force to find solutions. On April 15th, this task force will hold its third public meeting in San Diego.

Save the date for Chula Vista’s Day of the Child event on Saturday, April 20th from 10:00 AM-3:00 PM!
The event will be hosted at Memorial Park in Chula Vista and is being organized by the Chula Vista Community Collaborative. This event will be filled with plenty of fun activities for both children and adults! Circulate will be at the event demonstrating a temporary painted crosswalk and our remote-controlled traffic calming course!
Recap: St. Paul’s Plaza Pedestrian Audit
Through the City of Chula Vista and OTS grant, Circulate was able to host a pedestrian audit with St. Paul’s Plaza.
On this trip, Circulate and the residents traversed around the neighboring streets identifying areas of concern, especially for those with mobility challenges. While this pedestrian audit had some good pedestrian infrastructure, it lacked infrastructure for accessibility. The participants using mobility aids had difficulty with some parts of the audit. These difficulties were: a crosswalk with no curb ramps, broken sidewalks, short crossing window near Sharp Hospital, steeply inclined curb ramps, and crosswalks with cars parked too close to them decreasing drivers’ visibility of pedestrians.
The residents and staff of St. Paul’s Plaza provided Circulate with lots of feedback and concern about the lack of accessibility near their residence.
RECAP: Gomper’s Transportation Expo
This past week, the Circulate team participated in the Gomper's Transportation Expo, where we rolled out the traffic calming course for everyone to try. Folks of all ages drove the remote-control cars and practiced driving on traffic calming infrastructure, such as curb extensions, diverters, and roundabouts.
We appreciated everyone who stopped by the table and were able to take home some pedestrian and bicycle safety materials, and thank you to The Urban Collaborative Project for hosting such a fun and informative event!

For each of their 12 home games, Mojo is highlighting local non-profit organizations to grow awareness of important initiatives while uplifting women’s sports. Circulate is excited to announce that we will be partnering with the team during their games on Tuesday, April 2nd and Friday, April 26th!

Save the date for the 3rd Annual Southeast San Diego Transportation Expo on April 6th from 9 AM -1 PM! The event will be held at Gomper's Prep Academy in Chollas View and hosted by The Urban Collaborative Project. This family friendly event will feature bike rodeos, bike/scooter giveaways, and other transportation demos for families to learn more about transportation justice and climate action in Southeast San Diego. Recap: Developmental Disability Awareness Month at Museum School
As a part of Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month, Circulate enjoyed working with Museum School for 2 weeks to teach the students about accessible infrastructure, pedestrian safety, and being smart pedestrians!
Circulate collaborated with the Museum’s School staff and the Special Education Department to provide fun programs to the students. The students enjoyed interactive presentations focused on pedestrian safety, complete streets, and accessibility. Circulate got to Museum School early on a Friday to have a Walk’ N’ Roll to School Day, where the students got incentives to walk, bike, or roll to school.
Lastly, the 7th graders went on a Walking Field Trip, where they got to experience first-hand the importance of proper pedestrian infrastructure and smooth sidewalks.
Logan Memorial Educational Campus – Walk & Roll to School Day!
This past Wednesday, the Circulate team collaborated with Logan Memorial Educational Campus on a Walk & Roll to School Day for their Secondary Campus. Many students walked, biked, scootered, and rolled to campus and picked a safety item from the table. Bike lights, bike bells, and reflective bracelets were quite popular, especially for students whose bikes did not have any.
We were delighted to share as many safety resources as possible with students and parents. Thank you to one such parent, Assemblymember David Alvarez, for stopping by to say hello! The Circulate team will be conducting more Walk & Roll to School Days in the coming month around the Logan neighborhoods.

Victory by Vibrant Uptown Shows Success of Planning Group Reform
Circulate has been advocating for reform of the City of San Diego’s Community Planning Groups for years – from our 2018 report "Democracy in Planning," to our coalition work in 2022 supporting the successful reform package, and many points in between.
On March 21, 2024, that advocacy bore new dividends when a group called Vibrant Uptown received unanimous recommendation of the City Council’s Land Use and Housing Committee to take over as the next Uptown Community Planning Group in Uptown.The full Council will have to confirm that choice, and then elections will have to be held under Vibrant’s new bylaws. But Vibrant’s structural approach ensures more representative balance.
Vibrant Uptown member Jon Anderson described how they achieved this victory and what it means for the community:
"Vibrant Uptown is thrilled with the outcome of the vote, and for what it means for the future here in Uptown!
Both groups promised more outreach to more accurately reflect the community. But we went further and designated seats for one renter and one homeowner per neighborhood - putting that structural guarantee directly in the bylaws.
Roughly 59% of the people in the Uptown neighborhoods are renters, and prior boards have not typically reflected that balance no matter how much outreach they did. The City Council felt that our structural approach would keep the planning group representative in the long term. That's what put us over the top.”

UPDATE: Making The Most of the MidCoast – University Plan Environmental Review Marks Big Win For Circulate And Allies
Circulate celebrated a major victory this week when the University Plan Update moved another step to reality with the release of the Draft Program Environmental Impact Report.
Throughout 2023, Circulate and our allies called for the EIR to include an alternative plan that would add 26,000 more units of housing than the City's base proposal. As demonstrated by the Making The Most of The Mid Coast Report, this vital region needs housing growth to take advantage of its status as a transit, education and employment hub.
Our efforts were successful, as the EIR released on March 14, 2024 evaluated our preferred alternative and found it to be "the environmentally superior alternative". (p. 815 of the EIR)
The San Diego Planning Department anticipates the City Council will choose which plan to adopt in the fall. Circulate and our allies will continue to push to Make the Most of the Mid Coast.

Clairemont Drive Station Walk Audit with Ride SD!

SD Nights are provided at numerous parks and schools across the county. We will bring our remote-controlled traffic calming course, educational information on traffic safety, and pedestrian and bicycle safety materials.

SCAG Awards Circulate $311,131 for 2024 Go Human Safety Strategies
The Southern California Association of Governments (SCAG) awarded Circulate Planning a $311,131 grant to execute the 2024 Go Human Safety Strategies program funded through the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS).
Go Human launched in 2015 to address rising rates of injuries and collisions in Southern California, reduce traffic collisions, encourage people to walk and bike more across the region, and reduce vehicle miles traveled and greenhouse gas emissions.
Award funds will support a variety of equity-focused mobility justice and traffic safety initiatives, including the implementation of the Go Human Community Streets grant, deployment and management of the Go Human Kit of Parts Lending Library, development and distribution of Go Human safety resources and trainings, and reporting.
We have loved working in the SCAG region on our recent Banning ATP, Lynwood SRTS, Buena Park ATP, and Montebello FMLM projects, and are so excited for the opportunity to continue this work!
Update – Transit to the Airport
Circulate has been advocating for rail transit to the airport for six years. Last week, Circulate sent a letter and spoke to SANDAG Board Members, urging them to expedite the planning process. Any unnecessary delays are detrimental to our community. Let's prioritize getting people to the airport efficiently and quickly.
Recap: Coastal Access Walk Audit in Point Loma
The Circulate team had a great time conducting a walk audit last Thursday, February 22nd, starting at the intersection of W Point Loma Boulevard and Nimitz Boulevard. Participants observed on the walk missing crosswalks, narrow sidewalks, and an inconsistent bike lane. They expressed wanting to see more high-visibility crosswalks, a better-connected bicycle network, and bus amenities as many students and families walk along Point Loma Boulevard to go to school or parks nearby.

Driving Sustainable Urban Futures: Learnings from the Urban Dialogues
Circulate was thrilled to participate in The Urban Dialogues, a program facilitated by the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Washington DC, recently engaged in collaborative discussions between Mexican, American and Dutch cities, with San Diego and Tijuana as a focal point. Sessions centered on circular neighborhood development and sustainable mobility, drawing participants from both public and private sectors. Delving into research, equity considerations, and implementation strategies, the dialogue emphasized collaboration's crucial role in addressing enduring urban issues while promoting economic prosperity and inclusivity.

Coastal Access Walk Audit in Point Loma!
Join us on February 22nd at 3PM for a walk audit along W. Point Loma Boulevard! We will be meeting on the northwest corner of Nimitz Boulevard and W Point Loma Boulevard.
We will be identifying safety hazards for both pedestrians and bicyclists and discussing traffic calming solutions in Point Loma. The walk audit findings will be drafted into a report for the city and be accessible on our website.

Oceanside Coastal Rail Trail – Community Workshop!
Join us on Thursday. February 29th from 6 – 8 pm in Oceanside. We will be having a community workshop, inside the Council Chambers at the Civic Center, discussing the Oceanside Coastal Rail Trail Project.
The Coastal Rail Trail is part of a connected 44-mile bike trail between the City of Oceanside and the City of San Diego. In Spring 2014, SANDAG, in cooperation with the City of Oceanside, completed a portion of the planned trail between Oceanside Boulevard and Wisconsin Avenue.
The Coastal Rail Trail Project will improve the multi-use trail connectivity between Buccaneer Park and Vista Way, and add a new trail from Vista Way to Carlsbad Boulevard.
RECAP: Paseo Artist Village Walk Audit
This past Thursday, February 8th, the planning team hosted a walk audit with Paseo Artist Village in Downtown Vista. This was coordinated with Community HousingWorks as many residents have expressed discomfort walking around the property.
The group was joined by City of Vista Traffic Engineering whom were able to experience the walking conditions first hand alongside the residents.
We thank Paseo Artist Village and City of Vista Traffic Engineering for ensuring the success of this walk!

This past Wednesday, February 7th, the planning team hosted a Toddler Tales at Otay Ranch Branch Library in Otay Ranch. This was coordinated with the City of Chula Vista as they have weekly storytimes for children.
For the Toddler Tales, Circulate was able to create an interactive storytime. We read Joan Holub's Runaway Signs, which talked about all the signs we see on the road. After the book, we had the 24 parents and children learn some vocabulary to become a safe pedestrian and the three steps for crossing the road safely. We even had some of the children and parents come up and practice the three steps on our Safety Town.
We thank the City of Chula Vista’s Otay Ranch Branch for allowing us to come and host a toddler tale! We hope to host more of these storytimes soon!

Community Rallies To Replace Ghost Bike
Circulate was pride to join Families for Staff Streets San Diego to re-install Matt Keenan’s vandalized Ghost Bike. Ghost Bikes mark a spot where a cyclist lost their life while riding. When you see a white bicycle like this, please take it as a reminder to look out for cyclists and drive safely.
Thanks to the generosity of multiple organizations and individuals, Matt's wife Laura received donations for a replacement bike, assistance in preparing and installing the ghost bike, and support for fundraising efforts. As a result, on Sunday, January 28th at 10:30 am at 2100 Block of Camino del Rio South Laura and allies from the Cycling community were able to act swiftly to install a new ghost bike memorial and banner for Matt.
Otay Ranch Library’s Toddler Tales
Circulate is excited to host the Otay Ranch Library’s weekly reading program. On February 7that 10:15 am, Circulate staff will read a book called Runaway Signs with an interactive Safety Town component: teaching the 3 steps to crossing the road, and a take-home coloring activity. As part of our City of Chula Vista contract, Circulate has found some fun materials for the toddlers that will prepare them to be successful readers and smart pedestrians in the future. This event is open to the public and we hope to see you and your child there!

Walk Audits around the County!
This past week, the Circulate team has been getting their steps in around the county! We had the opportunity to conduct four walk audits with different organizations and identify safety hazards for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Starting last Tuesday, January 23, the planning team was in Rolando Park, where we were accompanied by the Rolando Park Community Council. Last week’s rain helped us identify locations that could benefit from traffic calming measures and spaces that were prone to flooding. The following walk audit was at Saburo Muraoka Elementary School, and we were accompanied by the parents who identified intersections that made it dangerous for their kids to walk to and from school.
Just the next day, the planning team went to the Arc of San Diego - Chula Vista, where participants identified streets that would benefit from pedestrian improvements such as wider sidewalks, pedestrian scale lighting, and crosswalks. The team wrapped up the final walk audit of January with Serving Seniors in Cortez Hill. The seniors enjoy their weekly walks, and they appreciated the opportunity to tell us about their own walking experiences.

Starting in 2022, Circulate San Diego began an exciting collaboration with Community HousingWorks (CHW) and their Keeler Court community. Through funds provided by the Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities program (AHSC), the project offered Keeler Court residents innovative multimodal transportation programming.
As part of this initiative, residents embarked on engaging field trips, utilizing various transportation modes such as public transit, electric scooters, walking, and biking. Circulate Staff worked to equip residents with new skills, enabling them to access community resources and leisure activities independently, reducing reliance on cars. The result of these efforts was a more integrated community where residents gained the knowledge to navigate the area autonomously.
We are at the conclusion of the grant but promise to keep working with the Keeler community and other communities adjacent! Thank you to Community HousingWorks for entrusting us with this work and we look forward to any future opportunities!

Reminder: Walk around Rolando Park with us! Join us next Tuesday on the corner of Vista Grande Drive and Marlowe Drive, by Rolando Park Elementary School.
We will be identifying safety hazards and infrastructure improvements that can help make the neighborhood of Rolando Park safer. We will be joined by the Rolando Park Community Council, residents, and the District 9 office to discuss potential traffic calming measures that can aid the community.Findings will be collected and reported to the City of San Diego; we hope these findings will help increase safety for pedestrians, bicyclists, and residents.

We are excited to announce Octavio Garcia has been promoted to a Senior Planner role within Circulate’s planning team!
Octavio has played an integral role in the planning team’s journey since joining Circulate as an intern in January 2021. Recently, Octavio has been project managing some of our larger SCAG-funded projects, including the Banning Active Transportation Plan, Lynwood Safe Routes to School Plan, and Montebello First/Last Mile Plan. He is an asset on all tasks he is challenged with, and we look forward to having him take on an advanced role within the Planning Team!

OTS Awards Circulate and SDSU $199,757 for Safety Programming

Heritage Park Walk and Chula Vista OTS
The planning team has been working in Chula Vista thanks to our new grant with the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS). We recently conducted a bike rodeo at Mueller Charter school and a walking field trip with children around Heritage Community Park.
As we continue working around the City of Chula Vista through this grant, we would like to extend an invite to any of those who may be interested in FREE programming! This includes biking and walking audits, open streets events, bicycle rodeos, community and school-based presentations, pop-up events, and more. The grant program will run through September 2024.

In 2018, Circulate received a grant from Community HousingWorks to provide pedestrian, bicycle, and transit education for the residents of the new development. We did a variety of activities for the residents including our safety town presentations, pedestrian/bicycle safety presentations, walk audits, transit field trips, and many other activities throughout the years!

The City Buena Park’s First Active Transportation Plan
This past weekend, the planning team was in the City of Buena Park for their holiday event Candy Caneland! It was the final community engagement event for the city’s first Active Transportation Plan (ATP). The ATP will help address the needs of people who walk, bike, or take transit every day in the City of Buena Park.
The project consisted of three community events, such as Candy Caneland, two community workshops, SCAG’s Go Human Safety Demonstration, and multiple community stakeholder meetings to actively involve all members of the community’s feedback into the ATP.
Some feedback includes expanding the bicycle network throughout the city, creating safe crossings at intersections, and improving sidewalk conditions and connectivity.
We appreciate all the stakeholders and community event attendees who were passionate about the ATP and their feedback on the plan.
Stay True Cycleworks Bicycle Maintenance Courses
Looking to get more hands-on with your bike? Stay True Cycleworks is here to help you learn more about your bike.
Three different courses have been announced for the month of January: (1) Flat Repair Clinic; (2) Bicycle 101 and 102; and (3) Intermediate Bicycle Maintenance.
Classes are available on weekday evenings and Saturday mornings. Circulate staff participated in the Intermediate Bicycle Maintenance course and learned a ton about the fundamentals of keeping bicycles safe and operational.

Circulate Receives $10,000 for Safe Routes to Parks
Circulate is pleased to announce that we are one of eight recipients of San Diego Promise Zone Partner Financial Assistance grants, made possible by the City of San Diego and California Coast Credit Union.
The $10,000 awarded will support our efforts to further the impact of our Safe Routes to Parks initiative and allow for continued coordination with Parks Department staff members to install placemaking, pedestrian safety, and traffic calming measures within high-crash Promise Zone parks (such as Memorial Park, Mountain View Park, and MLK Park).
The San Diego Promise Zone covers a 6.4-square-mile targeted area that spans East Village and Barrio Logan east to Encanto, and is home to the City’s most culturally rich and ethnically diverse neighborhoods and some of the City's most under-resourced communities.
Circulate is a participating member of the Promise Zone’s Healthy Communities Working Group and conducts a variety of planning and programming initiatives throughout the Promise Zone region.
We are grateful for the opportunity to continue this work and are excited to get started on this project!

RECAP: Taking Action for Safer Streets
Last month, Circulate San Diego joined Families for Safe Streets San Diego and the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition in hosting the second annual World Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil to honor the 283 victims of traffic violence in 2022. Family members shared heartbreaking stories of loss, emphasizing the need to stop this violence.
We urge the City of San Diego to implement three cost-effective solutions to save lives:
- Fix the Fatal 15: Prioritize solutions for the 15 most dangerous intersections.
- Protect Bikeways: Add safety measures to 75 miles of bikeways during upcoming projects.
- Implement Complete Streets: Rapidly adopt San Diego’s updated Complete Streets policy.
The media has taken notice, with coverage from ABC 10, Union Tribune, Fox5, and KPBS. During the vigil a number of elected officials offered their support of our efforts, including Congressman Scott Peters, San Diego City Council President Sean Elo-Rivera, and San Diego City Councilmembers Joe LaCava, Stephen Whitburn, and Raul Campillo.

Circulate Promotes Fast Bus Report Findings With Explainer Videos
Circulate continued to promote its Fast Bus report, which identified five cost-effective interventions to make the bus fairer and more attractive for riders, including:
- Dedicated Bus-Only Lanes
- Transit Signal Priority
- Improved Frequencies
- Extended Service Hours
- Family-Friendly FaresOver the past several weeks, Circulate created and distributed short videos explaining some of the report's central recommendations.

Join Us for World Day of Remembrance Candlelight Vigil
Volunteers and Shoe Donations needed for the World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims on November 17th. We’ll honor the 283 people killed in San Diego County traffic collisions in 2022 and work for safer streets in their name. We’ll display a pair of shoes to visually represent those we’ve lost due to preventable traffic collisions. All shoes will be donated to charities following the event.
Donate shoes: Please consider donating no-longer needed shoes. Find convenient shoe drop off locations here.
Volunteer: We’re looking for volunteers at the event to set up shoes, check-in attendees, and transport shoes and tables to the event. Please sign up to volunteer here.

National Pedestrian Safety Month Halloween Safety Tips
The month of October is for pedestrian activities - trick-or-treating, pumpkin picking, and haunted trails galore. It should come as no surprise that October is also National Pedestrian Safety Month. How spooktacular!
To celebrate, Circulate is partnering with California’s Office of Transportation to encourage our community's monsters and ghouls to be extra careful while driving or walking to and from their frightful festivities. Remember Halloween is one of the most dangerous nights of the year with increased pedestrian traffic and increased alcohol consumption.

Thanks to everyone who attended our Fall Membership Mixer!
Special thank you Senator Steve Padillaand Assemblymember David Alverez for offering remarks. We were excited to celebrate all the housing wins during this legislative cycle, including Circulate Sponsored Bill AB 1287.
AB 1287 from Assemblymember Alvarez would expand California Density Bonus Law by creating a new "Middle Income Bonus Program." That program would encourage housing developers to maximize existing incentives to construct deed-restricted affordable units, and to provide additional deed-restricted middle-income units.

Recap: Dana Middle School’s BOOvie Night
Circulate joined Dana and Correia Middle Schools for BOOvie Night on October 20th.
Circulate staff brought our remote-control traffic calming course and safety guides to educate middle schoolers on bike and pedestrian safety. During the BOOvie Night, staff quizzed the students on bike and pedestrian safety tips and when they got the right answer they were able to spin a prize wheel and win cool incentive prizes! We were even able to giveaway a free helmet to one of the middle school students.
The booth was very popular and we spoke to over 200 students and parents that night! Circulate was able to participate in this event as a part of our Walk N Roll project funded by the County of San Diego and the California Office of Traffic Safety.
Circulate’s AB 1287 is now law
AB 1287 is a major legislative accomplishment. The Middle-Income Homes Bonus program will expand housing opportunities throughout California. It benefits all Californians by encouraging construction of more homes at every income level.
When AB 1287 takes effect on January 1, 2024, it will create a new incentive that can only be used when a project maximizes the production of Very-Low, Low, or Middle-Income units, as allowed by current Density Bonus Law. Only when those maximums are met, does an additional bonus become available when a project deed-restricts an additional percentage of Middle-Income homes.
Last week, our staff organized a press conference to celebrate this major win for housing production. We were joined by Assemblymember David Alvarez, and housing advocates.
A number of local outlets carried the story, including ABC 10 ,The East County Magazine ,Times of San Diego, CBS 8,NBC 7, and AXIOS San Diego. This kind of publicity is key to promoting our work to make San Diego and California a better place to live work and move around.

Recap: Southeastern Live Well Center Open House and Resource Fair
As part of our National Pedestrian Safety Month campaign, Circulate attended the Open House and Resource Fair for the New Southeastern Live Well Center (5101 Market St, San Diego, CA 92114) on October 14th from 11 am- 3 pm!
This event introduced the new Center to the public and showcased its services, such as a wellness and meditation garden, a new trail extension, public art and more. Circulate was able to provide community members with resources on pedestrian and bicycle safety.

How to Have Your Voice Heard: Planning group info session
The Institute for Public Strategies, in collaboration with the City of San Diego Planning Department, will be hosting a hybrid information session that aims to bring awareness of planning groups to community members interested in representing their community. This session will also touch on the benefits of participating in planning groups, their roles and responsibilities, and the process for City Council recognition.
This information session is being hosted on Tuesday, October 24th, from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. at the City Heights Library (3795 Fairmont Avenue). Community members of all ages who are interested in serving their community, are current planning group members or wish to learn about planning groups more should attend. Dinner will be provided to all in person attendees.

RECAP: California Home Builders ALLIANCE CONVENING
This week, Circulate staff spent the day with housing advocates from across the state celebrating the many housing bills signed by Governor Newsom and began planning for the 2024 legislative cycle. Circulate’s policy Counsel, Will Moore, gave an update on how continued reform to housing density legislation can expand housing production.
Circulate is an active member of the California Home Builders Alliance, a group of organizations and advocates across the state dedicated to passing pro-housing production legislation. The coalition played a critical role in passing key housing bills during the 2023 legislative cycle.
RECAP: Circulate Hosts Panel on AHSC Program at SDHF Conference
On Tuesday, October 3rd, Circulate team members convened a panel presentation and discussion for the San Diego Housing Federation’s 2023 Affordable Housing & Community Development Conference. With support from Tampatha Climons, a long-time participant in Circulate’s multimodal transportation field trips, and Kevin Rodin, the Founder and CEO of CD-RG, the panel detailed how developers can leverage the State of California’s Affordable Housing and Sustainable Communities (AHSC) program to fund innovative affordable housing and transportation projects, shed light on the success of past programs, and showcased the positive impacts for residents.
Circulate was able to highlight our recent collaborations with Father Joe’s Villages and Community Housing Works, both of which utilized AHSC funding to provide residents of new affordable housing communities with innovative multimodal transportation programming, such as transit field trips, walk audits, and bike rodeos.
